A weaving and woven space. A room for mending; repairing surfaces comprised of threads. A space for memory to be shared through material.
Things here are multi-sided. There is a palpable but unseen obverse, a turning away. Warp and Weft, the imperfect and irregular threads of experience and recollection. A texture that activates color. An elaborate system of intra-active colors influenced by the surrounding hues and light cast.
Più di uno maschera, something more than a face, a gaze. Masks that are identities in themselves or nothing at all. Every weaving incorporates a leaving — a repeated disappearance behind the visible. A beautiful unseeing eye living only to be observed.
What is the menders role? The mender had said it's easier to complete or repair an observable pattern in a woven structure, but impossible to know an ideal solution to a hole in an irregular fabric. With the acceptance of impossibility the mender moves forward.
